How it works
The Candela GentleMax Pro pairs two medical-grade laser wavelengths. The 755nm Alexandrite targets pigment close to the surface of the skin, while the 1064nm Nd:YAG reaches deeper with less melanin absorption, making it ideal for vessels and suitable for a wider range of skin tones. Built-in cooling keeps each pulse comfortable.
What to expect
Each pulse feels like a brief, warm snap, similar to a flick from an elastic band. Afterwards:
- Mild redness for around 24 hours
- Treated spots darken first, then flake away over 1–2 weeks
- Most people are back at work the next day
- Mineral makeup can be worn to cover any redness or darkened spots
- Daily SPF is essential while your skin heals
How many sessions?
- Pigmentation: visible results from 1–3 treatments
